How to Insert a Flexy®Tampon
  1. Wash your hands: Clean hands are essential for hygiene.
  2. Choose the right tampon: Flexy® tampons come in different absorbencies (light, regular, super & super plus). Start with the lowest absorbency you need. You’ll know you need a higher absorbency if the tampon soaks through too quickly (within a couple of hours) or if you experience leaks.
  3. Get comfortable: Find a comfortable position. Some women prefer to stand with one leg raised on the toilet seat, while others find it easier to sit on the toilet or squat.
  4. Prepare the tampon: Remove the tampon from its wrapper.
  5. Prepare the string: gently extend the string to its full length.
  6. Position the tampon: Hold the tampon firmly between your thumb and forefinger, with the string hanging down.
  7. Insert the tampon: Gently insert the rounded end of the tampon into your vaginal opening. Push the tampon straight back towards your lower back as far as you comfortably can.
  8. Use your finger: Use your index finger to push the tampon further into your vagina. The tampon should be positioned so you can’t feel it.
  9. Wash your hands again: Good hygiene is important.

How to remove a Flexy® tampon
  1. Find the String: Gently locate the end of the tampon string. It should be easily accessible.
  2. Extend the String: Gently pull on the string to ensure it’s fully extended. This will make removal easier.
  3. Remove the Tampon: With a firm but gentle grip on the string, slowly and steadily pull the tampon out. Avoid pulling too quickly.
  4. If the Tampon Feels Stuck: If the tampon doesn’t come out easily, it may not be fully saturated. Don’t force it. Try a lower absorbency tampon next time. If you consistently experience difficulty, consult a healthcare professional.
  5. Disposal: Always dispose of used tampons in the trash. Never flush tampons down the toilet. They can cause plumbing problems and environmental damage.

For detailed instructions, see our Step by Step User Guide.

  1. How Long to Wear a Tampon: For hygiene and safety, change your tampon every 4-8 hours. Never wear a tampon for longer than 8 hours.
  2. Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS): TSS is a rare but serious condition associated with tampon use. To reduce your risk, use the lowest absorbency tampon you need and change your tampon regularly. If you experience any symptoms of TSS (high fever, rash, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness), remove the tampon immediately and seek medical attention. Read More
